With years of clinical experience, specialized training in geriatrics and chronic conditions, Olivia Niedbala, L.Ac brings a missing link of healthcare to the tri-state area. Her focus has been on treating chronic pain, neuropathy, and rheumatic conditions. It sparks great joy to be able to help people live life to their fullest and without debilitating, chronic pain.
Olivia believes that it’s never too late to feel great, and feels passionate about offering a holistic alternative to the never-ending cycle of specialists, medications, and surgeries. Her desire to learn and give the best treatments led her to study in China, the birthplace of acupuncture, where she witnessed acupuncture clinics deeply connected to their community. She noticed that the people there treated Chinese Medicine as a way of life – coming for treatment with their families often multiple times a week, in order to age more gracefully, ward off chronic pain, and feel their best. They used Western Medicine for necessary surgeries and medications as a last resort. Olivia saw how different this philosophy was from what she heard from her patients back home, who often found her after trying everything else, and whose doctors often told them that they just had to live with their condition.
This is what led Olivia to specialize in treating chronic and seemingly hopeless cases.
